InnovOak Programs Overview
Kindergarten
A structured and results driven approach that encourages curiosity and a love of learning, Kindergarten at InnovOak is the foundation from which we grow success. Incorporating purposeful play with designated learning and instruction time, our students are excited to come to school everyday. Guaranteed to read, write, and understand basic numeracy, Kindergarten students have all the necessary skills to grow and learn for the future.
Junior School
Working from a strong foundation of learning, Junior School inspires a love of STEM, Arts, personal success, and overall personal achievement. Student skills and achievement are tracked along the curriculum to ensure that students meet and exceed benchmarks. Explicitly teaching and assessing learning skills, incorporated into daily and weekly lessons, students are taught and supported to tackle difficult situations with grace, dignity, and determination. A positive attitude, growth mindset, and exception skills set our students apart from the crowd.
Middle School
Growing and learning, Middle School students are prepared and supported for the academic rigors of high school and the socio-emotional development of adolescence. Growing leadership skills and community participation, Middle School ensures well rounded learners that are ready for lifelong success. Offering reach ahead credits to qualified students, our academic intensity, planning, and focus are all based on the needs of the adolescent learner.
Senior School
Senior School students are prepared for post-secondary success and ready to take on the next steps of their education. Through career development and guidance coaching, students are supported in identifying the pathway to post-secondary education and achievement. Offering Co-Op and AP Courses, InnovOak’s Senior School takes the ordinary high school experience and makes it exceptional!
Montessori - Inspired Learning
Taking the best advantages of the Montessori approach, InnovOak’s Montessori-Inspired Learning utilizes the specifically designed manipulates and materials to encourage and support confident student learning. Manipulates take abstract concepts and help students to understand them at an early age. The use of purposeful play and guided learning, inspires curiosity while ensuring there is designated time for instruction and individual attention.
Singapore Math
A structured and designated approach to foundational math skills and confidence, Singapore Math grows mathematical achievement from a strong knowledge of math as a language. Review and application of concepts supports students in efficiently approaching and solving problems. Individual attention and tracking of math skills, students can maximize their strengths and focus on areas of improvement. Singapore Math is how InnovOak students achieve mathematical success.
LifeReady Program
Unique to InnovOak School, LifeReady is purposefully designed to provide students with the everyday adult skills and knowhow to be successful at all stage of life. Including Financial Literacy, Self Branding, Digital Citizenship, Nutrition, Budgeting, and more, LifeReady equips students with the practical skills beyond the academic. Encouraging success post-graduation and a wholesome life experience, students learn essential skills for everyday achievement.
Dining
Healthy, nutritious, and tasty, our Dining Services provide students with homemade meals made from quality ingredients. A rotating and dynamic menu ensures all students find food they enjoy with the nourishment families hope for. Including a wide variety of cooking styles and meals, we endeavour to provide every meal with the quality students love. Student and family feedback and participation is another way InnovOak serves and supports our community.
