Our Senior School is where students, guidance counselors, teachers, and parents come together to accomplish student success post-graduation. Offering the full spectrum of Ontario OSSD courses, the robust and individualized InnovOak Co-Op program, and the continued support of the InnovOak community, students can realize and achieve their goals for the future.
In addition to InnovOak School's potent academic offerings, our unique LifeReady program establishes the basic skills needed for life. Established budgeting, self branding, financial planning, comprehension of contracts and more, the LifeReady program assures confidence and prosperity in daily living. Including enriched academic programs and a diversity of extracurricular opportunities, InnovOak Senior School culminates in a well-rounded and successful student.
CO-OP Opportunities
Taking advantage of the start up economy and diverse offerings of the technology, aerospace, and digital media industries expanding throughout the Kitchener-Waterloo Region, InnovOak School is dedicated to finding and implementing valuable and prestigious co-op opportunities that address student interests. Our dedicated staff and community connections establish our students in growing and distinguished career fields. Students and families can expect a multitude of options that serve as critical experience in the pursuit of career and post-graduation success.
Path To Success
The InnovOak guidance program works throughout the InnovOak education spectrum to truly know and understand the students that attend InnovOak School. Learning about the strengths and weaknesses of each student, counselors identify student goals and work to create tailored supports and systems of improvement to address shortcomings or strengthen student skills. Continual communications and regular meetings with counselors that make the time for each student; InnovOak is dedicated to student success.
Maximizing Advantages
Dedicated to teaching a well-rounded student, InnovOak School has designed a standardized schedule that maximizes learning and ensures that students have greater access to support. Including an extra school period, InnovOak students utilize the time to meet with the Student Success team, get ahead on courses, or reinforce areas of academic shortcoming. Regular communications and oversight by teachers, counselors and administration staff ensure that students meet and exceeds the standards of success.
Preparing for Post-Graduation
InnovOak students have big dreams and larger aspirations. Encouraging an environment of achievement, InnovOak School not only prepares students for graduation and further academic enrollment, they work with students and families to find strategies and support systems that aid students in admission to their choice of University and College. Expectations for these programs are high but InnovOak School has dedicated and explicit benchmarks for students to ensure that they can achieve their ambitions with a caring staff and community behind them every step of the way.
Advanced Placement Courses
Advanced placement courses (AP) are courses designed for students with high academic standing to provide university level experience and instruction early. Universities and colleges expect AP students to have a better dedication to their studies and have more success as they program through their degrees. InnovOak School is offering select AP courses to applicable students to maximize the advantages in Senior School and better prepare students for University and College life and admissions.
